Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Associate’s degree in health sciences or related field.
- Certification as Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field.
- Prior experience as in electrophysiology or device technician.
- Perform remote cardiac device interrogation follow-up.
- Perform in office cardiac device checks.
- Ensure patients are ready for procedures and provide pre-procedural instruction
- Monitor patients’ clinical statues and cardiovascular hemodynamics during procedures
- Manage patient device data to ensure accurate patient tracking.
- Analyze and interpret data from procedures
- Report any abnormal findings to the provider/physician.
- Ensure equipment is working properly and maintain it in the outpatient setting.
- Assist in rooming patients.
- Perform administrative duties such as taking and returning phone calls to patients.
- Triage patient needs.
- Assist in scheduling outpatient electrophysiology procedures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit throughout duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Dexterity required to finger, handle, and reach.
- Indoor clinical setting.
- Knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology
- Understanding of how to operate equipment used in cardiac electrophysiology procedures.
- Customer service oriented personality.
