- Renders healthcare services to patients consistent with education, training, and experience as an advanced practice nurse.
- Receives patients, obtains health histories, performs physical examinations, develops diagnoses, and treatment plans, prescribes medications, orders and interprets laboratory, pathology, x-ray tests, and other clinical data.
- Obtains and prepares specimens for laboratory testing.
- Performs or assists in laboratory testing procedures consistent with education, skills, and training.
