West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics seek a Pediatric Electrophysiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pediatric Electrophysiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Clinical duties will include one Saturday morning clinic per month, two days of cardiac catheterizations per month, EKG, Holter monitor, stress test interpretation and continual remote pediatric electrophysiology call availability as needed for the Children's Heart Center.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed pediatric residency program, as well as a pediatric cardiac electrophysiology fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in pediatric cardiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
