Responsibilities
· This is a 12-month appointment.
· This appointment will include up to a 21-credit hour teaching load per semester in Production Technology.
· Other college level courses may also be assigned depending on the selected candidate’s credentials.
· All instructional duties will be at the main campus in Parkersburg.
· Teaching assignments may include evening, weekend, and hybrid instruction.
· In addition, duties may include academic advising, program and course-level assessment, program support, effective use of learning management systems, student recruitment/retention and professional development.
· Use of learning management systems and demonstrated effective use of technology is a condition of continued employment beyond the first year.

Qualifications
Required Education:
· A bachelor’s degree from a recognized, regionally accredited institution with major emphasis in the teaching discipline
· OR certifying documentation of journeyman rating
· OR equivalent status in a recognized vocational field
Required Experience:
· At leastfive years of industry work experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
· In-depth understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety protocols, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response procedures
· Familiarity with regulations and standards such as OSHA and other relevant industry guidelines
· Demonstrated use of advanced technology systems such as learning management systems or similar technologies.
Demonstration of teaching effectiveness is part of the on-campus interview.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
