What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Associate (Hardware and Building Supplies) position at WW Building Supply?
We are looking for people with great customer service skills, a willingness to find solutions and an interest in all things hardware store. We are a unique local business with over 50 years of history, really awesome customers and a strong team. You'll find new and different challenges every day!
- Work directly with customers in the store, including point-of-sale and customer service in the retail environment.
- Handle cash, check and credit card transactions.
- Accurately scan and enter SKUs into a sales software system.
- Answer phones and basic product questions on a regular basis.
- Assist with restocking shelves each week.
- Clean and organize merchandise and assist with labeling products.
- Assist with inventory control and counting.
- Lift at least 20 lbs. without assistance.
- Fill out accurate paperwork and order information.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Weekend shift rotation required (Saturday 8am-4pm)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
- POS: 1 year (Preferred)
