As the Project Controls Manager, you will work under the Director of Project Controls to manage and oversee project controls for our construction projects. You will establish robust controls and operating policies that identify, monitor, and mitigate risks, while analyzing project data to track budgets, forecast performance, and report on project outcomes. Your efforts will help ensure that our projects are completed on time, within scope, and with maximum profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement WW Clyde’s vision and core values within the project controls function.
- Identify and resolve risks, financial discrepancies, and variances affecting project performance.
- Develop and refine processes and procedures for project controls.
- Analyze month-end project reports to ensure accuracy and consistency with established metrics.
- Evaluate and forecast current estimate status against a baseline schedule.
- Oversee new project setups and project closings to ensure seamless transitions.
- Analyze financial reports and forecasts, aligning them with known trends to support decision-making.
- Create data analytics to monitor project scope and performance.
- Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to critical deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project controls within the construction industry.
- Proficient in advanced spreadsheet functions, Power Queries, Power BI, and Smartsheets (a plus).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and scheduling methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
