Overview
The Make Ready Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that residential units are prepared for new occupants. This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and customer service expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all units meet company standards before move-in.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential units to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC repairs.
- Fabricate and repair fixtures and fittings as necessary to ensure functionality.
- Execute residential painting and touch-up work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of units.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in repairs and installations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring junior staff when required.

Qualifications
- Proficient in English & Spanish with strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing
- Ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting on various systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to diagnosing issues.
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Leadership qualities are a plus, particularly in guiding less experienced technicians.
- A background in apartment/multi family industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
