What You'll Do:
As the Civil Engineering Department Manager, you will lead and manage the department's daily operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing project planning and execution to ensure quality and efficiency
- Managing and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering growth and collaboration
- Leading client interactions and business development efforts to expand our project portfolio
- Reviewing and approving engineering plans and designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Utilizing technical expertise in civil/site design, including software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Engaging in strategic planning and budgeting for departmental growth
- Attending industry events and networking opportunities outside core business hours to support business development
Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with flexibility for occasional business development and networking activities.
