Job Summary:
Currently we are seeking A dentist, for our family own office in Mentor Ohio. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral health issues in patients. They perform routine checkups, dental procedures, and educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and oral health.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and infections.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, root canals, extractions, and crowns.
- Take and analyze X-rays to assess oral health conditions.
- Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care practices.
- Prescribe medications for pain relief, infections, and other dental conditions.
- Work with dental assistants and hygienists to provide efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and adhere to safety and health regulations.
Work Environment:
- Typically works in a dental office or clinic setting.
- May work full-time or part-time, often with flexible schedules.
- Requires standing for long periods and working with patients of all ages.
Salary:
- $850.00 per day or 40% of production whichever is greater!
Schedule:
Monday - Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm - Every other Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
- State licensure to practice dentistry.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of dental technology, tools, and procedures.
