The Role:
As the Finance Director, you will play a key role in managing financial operations, compliance, and reporting. You will oversee financial decision-making, ensure budget alignment, and maintain financial integrity for Leaseweb USA.

Our U.S. entity is a dynamic and growing organization with 80 employees, operating as part of a global company headquartered in Amsterdam. As Finance Director, you will report directly to the U.S. CEO and work closely with our global finance team to ensure alignment with company-wide financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
β Lead and manage the Finance Team (3 members: Team Lead, Accounts Payables and Receivables, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable)
β Oversee the Compliance Team (2 members)
β Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and controlling
β Review financial reports and provide analysis to senior management
β Manage and create the annual budget for Leaseweb USA
β Oversee compliance, ensuring adherence to global finance policies and regulations
β Serve as the corporate secretary, handling governance and compliance matters
β Be responsible for all bank accounts and act as the signatory on these accounts
β Develop and monitor key financial performance dashboards
β Present and defend business cases for investment proposals
β Manage financial statement review and income tax returns
β Participate in mergers and acquisitions alongside internal and external partners
β Finance Change Owner for ERP system implementation
β Review payroll for the People Operations Team
What Weβre Looking For:
πΉ Education: Bachelor's or Masterβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
πΉ Experience: 7-10 years in financial management, preferably within the technology or cloud hosting industry
πΉ Certifications: CPA required or must be able to obtain within 6 months of starting
πΉ Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills
πΉ Expert-level Excel skills required, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling.
πΉ Travel, must be able to travel to our Global HQ in Amsterdam within 30 days of starting, and once each year after to ensure close collaboration with our Global Finance Team
