We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, material supply inventory and converting that information into a viable production schedule for our salty snacks product lines. This role is critical to ensuring that we meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on customer information, historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather input and insights for demand planning.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and production capacity to adjust forecasts as needed while maintaining an efficient fixed production schedule.
Identify and communicate potential demand risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
Implement and utilize demand planning software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on demand forecasts and inventory status for management.
Participate in the development of production schedules to align with demand forecasts.
Continuously improve demand planning processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related role within the food or consumer goods industry.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
