Position Overview:
As a Construction Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships within the construction industry. This is a commission-based role, and you will be compensated based on your sales performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify potential clients, including homeowners, contractors, and commercial property owners, to generate new business opportunities.
- Sales Presentations & Consultations:
Meet with clients to understand their construction needs, present solutions, and explain services/products in detail.
- Contract Negotiation & Closing Sales:
Provide proposals and estimates, negotiate contract terms, and close sales in a timely and effective manner.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and regular follow-ups.
- Market Research & Networking:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential business opportunities. Network within the local community and construction industry.
- Collaboration with Project Teams:
Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
Track sales activities, monitor performance against targets, and report results to management. Adjust sales strategies as needed to meet goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or related industries (e.g., roofing, remodeling, commercial contracting).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and services.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
