Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that support warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of materials.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely to load and unload products.
• Fabricate items as needed, adhering to quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory control by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Participate in order fulfillment processes, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately.
• Follow OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse management practices are upheld.

Skills

• Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Experience in fabricating materials or products is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of inventory control methods.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations is essential.
• Capable of loading and unloading materials efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
