Beach Club Bartender
Job Overview:
Beach Club restaurant bartenders are responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our members and guests with genuine and personable connections, engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure.
Schedule:
- 8 Hour Days, 6 Days a week in peak season
- Day and Evening Shift Availability
- Weekend availability required
- Holidays
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 year in restaurants preferred but not required
- T.I.P.S certification preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Require ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work in environment with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees
Core Duties:
This is intended to represent the key duties for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome members and their guests at the bar, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverage to customers.
- Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to consume alcohol
- Taking inventory and informing managers when stock is low to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handle cash, credit and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and put to the correct account.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils and equipment.
- Perform other duties as directed by Restaurant Manager and Director of Restaurants.
