Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to hire a seasonal Facilities Attendant who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of all public and back of the house event spaces on the property.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic with an attention to detail and ability to deliver the highest property appearance standards for our guests.
Schedule: April through November
· 8 Hour shifts, 5 Days a week

· Weekend availability required

Qualifications
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to communicate effectively with managers and co-workers
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time including entire shift length
· Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
· Ability to operate a self-propelled floor cleaning machine
· Must be able to climb up and down stairs on a regular basis
· Must be able to work with teammates to set-up, stand on, and effectively clean from a ladder up to heights of 10 feet
· Require ability to work flexible hours (up to 6 days per week in peak season) and weekends
Responsibilities
· Perform routine cleaning, dusting, and maintenance of all event spaces – ballrooms, stairwells, hallways, bathrooms, coat room, VIP Rooms, Event rooms, lobby/foyer areas, supplies/storage closets and other spaces, as needed. This includes dusting/cleaning lights, chandeliers and ceiling ornaments that may necessitate the use of a ladder to reach.
· Daily cleaning tasks will include but are not limited to: dusting, spot treating walls and carpets, window cleaning, full bathroom cleaning, restocking of bathroom supplies, trash removal, vacuuming and mopping.
· Perform deep cleans of venue spaces as needed and at direction of management.
· Perform daily inspection walks of all outdoor public spaces to ensure they are clear of debris and/or refuse
· Maintain cleanliness and general appearance of all outdoor event spaces such as boat dock, ceremony lawns, outdoor decks, and venue plants/shrubbery.
· Clean windows (interior and exterior)
· Assist with cleaning of event space floors using machinery
· Identify any necessary maintenance repairs needed in event spaces and communicate those needs to managers
· Assist the DRA team when needed with set-up of event spaces to include moving and lifting of banquet tables and chairs
· Coordinate additional duties with Managers for daily needs
