Production Line Lead

Wyckoff Farms Inc is a Vertically Integrated, Lower Valley Agricultural Organization seeking to fill the position of Warehouse Lead. Directly supports Production Supervisor in day-to-day tasks. This role provides technical and procedural leadership on the production shifts and is responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees in the department and for meeting all production and quality objectives. Proper utilization of knowledge, training, department resources and good communication is key to achieving success in this position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Communicates clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Prior shipping and receiving experience to include inventory duties.
• Understanding of FIFO.
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Possess functional knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving equipment.
• Ability to take direction and question direction respectfully when concerns are identified.
• Experience using Excel, Word, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a leadership/warehouse role preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; speak, read and write.

Position Responsibilities

• Assists in leading employees in their assigned unit for effective shipping and receiving duties as assigned.
• Maintains a safe work environment leading by example and by verifying the use of PPE by all employees. Ensure the floor and the area is clean and free of debris.
• Directs proper use of materials and inspects materials being used.
• Understands, follows, and promotes GMP policies, product safety and daily sanitation processes.
• Verifies correct use of packing materials.
• Verifies time and attendance daily on employees including temporary employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to access all areas of the production floor/warehouse, which may require use of stairs/ladders.
• Standing / walking for long periods
• Stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing routinely.
• Able to work in adverse temperatures including hot and refrigerated environments.
• Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
