Performs various Secretarial and Clerical duties.
- Performs various Secretarial and Clerical duties.
- Types correspondence, memos, reports, minutes, etc. Makes photocopies as necessary.
- Maintains appointment books for meetings, patients, etc. Arranges meetings.
- Handles incoming and outgoing mail; opens, sorts, and prioritizes. Answers routine inquiries.
- Prepares charts and time table. Assists with the preparation of materials, agendas, notes, handouts, etc. Attends meetings and takes minutes as directed.
- Maintains files for personnel, payroll, fiscal statistics, presentations, proposals, professional contracts, general files, teaching and other materials. Assists priorities for daily operations and multiple projects. Orders office supplies as requested.
- Maintains established hospital/departmental unit policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control material.
- Maintains time and pay records. Prepares preliminary payroll documents.
- Maintains legal (court) file.
- Produces Radiology statistics through Radiology Information System.
- Maintains day logs for various divisions of the Department including Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology.
- Updates/corrects patient demographics on the Radiology Information System in conjunction with the confirmation of data from the Hospital Information System.
- Performs all other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum formal education of High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year job-related experience.
- Desired (not required) criteria include: Proficient typist. Computer knowledge (including networking and personal software). Knowledge of medical terminology. Previous experience in Radiology Department preferred.
