Job Summary:
The Food Expeditor helps keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and tables to expedite service and enhance the overall quality and experience.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature
- Help deliver orders to maintain fast service
- Communicate information between the kitchen and wait staff
- Monitor food runners to ensure daily task are complete consistently.
- Consistently maintains Food plating standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Ensure that food runner have all prep for service.
- Communicate to Chef all special request or allergies for members
- Adhere to all sanitation guidelines
- Assist the cooks and servers as necessary.
- Attends staff meetings.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Sous Chef, Exec. Sous Chef, Executive Chef.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Licenses and Special Requirements
- Food safety certification.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend,
stretch and twist or reach. - Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
