Conveyor/Material handling Maintenance Technician

## Job Overview
Conveyor and/or Material Handling Technician with repair experience (high/low voltage, PLC, VFD) to join our team. Willing to continue learning and gaining skills/knowledge. Must have excellent communication skills and able to create positive relationships with customers. Works Monday thru Friday's, day shift; however, flexibility in covering call-outs or project work is required.

## Experience
Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on conveyor/material handling experience with troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, 'hands-on' with tools, in an industrial environment (NOT residential or apartment maintenance).
• Experience working with minimal supervision, managing time and tasks effectively
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining specialized equipment such as industrial welders, electrical testing tools, and diagnostic tools
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and follow policies.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting, including diagnosing issues with motors, gears, bearings, and other mechanical components required.
• Experience/knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, including wiring, relays, switches, controls, motors, and electrical panels, experience with welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, stick welding) and cutting (plasma, oxy-acetylene) as it pertains to repairs and custom modifications; all are a plus.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and basic understanding of control systems, working knowledge of schematics and blueprints to interpret diagrams for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to utilize a hand-held device to enter time, upload photos, and complete work orders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently (excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once) and taking ownership of tasks along with the quality of work.
• Attention to detail in all work aspects, ensuring safety and accuracy in repairs and installations
• Strong communication skills, able to report and explain issues to management or other team members

Must reside within a 30-mile radius San Angelo, TX 76905

-Ability to meet employment requirements (MVR, background and drug screening) and operate a company vehicle to travel to customer locations.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
