Estimator / Construction Project Manager
Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is looking for a skilled Estimator / Project Manager for a full-service restoration company located in Ellensburg, Washington.
Estimator / Project Manager Compensation and Benefits :

We're looking for a candidate who is responsible for the complete oversight and management of construction and restoration projects, from initial site inspections and estimates through project completion. This role requires a blend of technical estimating skills and strong project management capabilities, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Manage and oversee all phases of construction and restoration projects, including planning, organizing, and directing field activities.
Perform site inspections, document losses with accurate measurements, notes, and photographs.
Estimate the cost of reconstruction using Xactimate software for residential and commercial water, fire, wind, and mold restoration projects.
Negotiate reconstruction costs with insurance carrier representatives and ensure fair and accurate scope / cost for repairs.
Secure unique materials, permits, and equipment necessary for project completion.
Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to set and meet proper expectations.
Maintain and establish strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project schedules, financial budgeting, and overall financial oversight of jobs.
Participate in design, process, and permit document preparation as needed.
Complete weekly expense reports and approve invoices.
Respond to property damage emergency calls when required.
Attend all appropriate company meetings and perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements :
5 years of experience in construction project management and estimating, preferably within the restoration industry.
Proficient in Xactimate.
Strong background in residential and commercial reconstruction with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with insurance adjusters and clients.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in sales or a strong sales acumen is a plus, especially in client-facing roles, to effectively communicate value propositions and drive business growth.
Must pass a background check and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
