Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in disaster restoration, is hiring a Project Estimator for a full-service restoration company in Westborough, MA.
Project Estimator Compensation and Benefits :
- Base pay : $70,000 plus (DOE)

The Project Estimator is responsible for performing site inspections, documenting losses with accurate measurements with solid attention to detail, estimating the cost of reconstruction of the entire project through the use of Xactimate, negotiating reconstruction costs with insurance carrier representatives, communicating issues with the Project Manager that will affect the project schedule and budget.
Project Estimator Responsibilities :
Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, wind, and mold restoration projects, including the reconstructionRespond to property damage emergency calls when requiredNegotiate restoration services and insurance claim settlementsHandle all estimating inquiries for the team and demonstrate a high level of problem-resolution and technical assistanceSubmit estimates in a timely matter determined by company requirementsEstablish and maintain client relationships as well as relationships with insurance adjusters and claim representativesProject Estimator Requirements :
4 years’ experience as a Project Estimator within the industryPossess a strong construction background and be able to communicate with Insurance Adjusters / Reps who may have very little construction knowledgeMust have knowledge of both residential and commercial reconstruction experienceXactimate proficiency is requiredPossess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)Ability to recognize and solve problems independentlyStrong communication and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, responsible and accountableKeywords : Restoration, Project Estimator, Xactimate
