Summary
The Warehouse Lead will be an experienced warehouse professional who is comfortable in a safety and quality focused environment while operating with accuracy at a fast pace. You will also possess knowledge of various warehouse machinery and equipment such as pallet jackets, forklifts, etc. Perform all forklift/inventory duties. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

Coordinates and executes essential daily warehouse tasks including:
- Receipt and recording of inventory arriving at warehouse
- Offload and receive inventory via deliveries and help load outbound shipments onto trucks for transportation
- Continuous organization and optimization of warehouse space to increase efficiency and safety
- Weekly cycle counts of all raw materials; verify and maintain inventory records as needed.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, projects, and equipment to improve warehouse operations
- Move and stack materials by transporting palletized products and goods to storage racks while applying knowledge of spatial relations
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
- Assist Supervisors and Managers in training and coaching Warehouse Support employees on proper procedures, techniques and compliance protocol
- Communicate quality or safety discrepancies to Supervisors, Managers and/or Directors
- Work cross-departmentally with Production, Operations, Finance, and Fulfillment teams to ensure warehouse activities are aligned with company goals and business requirements
- Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
- Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products are in compliance
- Flexibility to assist in Production where needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Experience: At least 1 year of related experience and/or training in food production, packaging or kitchen environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to understand and comply with kitchen and packaging sanitation and safety regulations. Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment. Must have strong attention to detail. Must understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
- Computer Experience
- Forklift Certified, or ability to become certified
- Good Judgement and ability to follow protocol
- Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
- Oregon: Active Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) Marijuana Worker Permit.
- California: Ability to pass a criminal background check or a Live Scan in the State of California.
- Arizona: Ability to clear a criminal background check and obtain a Facility and/or Dispensary Agent Card.
- Nevada: Active Nevada Cannabis Production / Distribution Agent Card required.
- Colorado: Active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Marijuana Worker’s Permit required.
- Willing to submit to a background check
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
- Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Benefits
Compensation:
As a non-exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage of $24-28/hr paid biweekly, overtime, 11 paid holidays, 80 hours of PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
