Server/Waiter/Waitress
Tickler’s Crab Shack, Tilghman Island specializes in relaxed waterfront dining, wedding weekends, corporate events, social gatherings & other events. As one of the few waterfront crab decks left in the area, we pride ourselves on our brand, food, atmosphere & ability to uphold the long-standing Eastern Shore traditions of family, food & fun in a laid-back environment. While also providing first class service & dining experiences.
We sit on a beautiful 9.5-acre property in the heart of Tilghman Island, with 50 hotel rooms, pool, sauna, lawn games & fire pits. With each operating seasonally, we have multiple restaurant & bar spaces that are used in a variety of ways. Every position is key to creating the experience we want our guests to have. Ideal candidates would be enthusiastic, hardworking, friendly, positive, team oriented and able to multitask. We function as a team at all times and are always looking for ways to make the guest's experience better. Servers & Server Assistants are all responsible for the guest's experience.
Responsibilities for all positions include:
- Efficiently & sincerely take care of guests in all aspects
- Always greeting guests with a smile and approachable body language
- Set up & clean up following opening & closing procedures
- Ensure all spaces are always ready for service
- Respond quickly to all changes & guest requests
- Easily converse with guests
- Know all aspects of the restaurant and fill in other roles as needed

Experience:
- Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Willing to train

Starting at $6 per hour plus tips for serving
Average earning of approx $25-30 per hour or more in season.
Hiring for a busy Spring-Fall Season of restaurant service, banquets and events.
Required to work weekends, holidays and single or double shifts.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Background check required.
