General Manager Job Description for Wylie Thunder Road (Job is March 1 to October 1), may be able to work at sister company Allevity Entertainment in off season. Plan to interview candidates late January or early February.

Reports to: Owner
Summary
Has responsibility for Thunder Road and Thunder Mountain, by performing the following duties, either personally or by delegating through subordinates:
Management
- Recruits, hires, trains, evaluates and terminates all team leads & team members.
- Exemplifies the core value philosophy to all team members.
- Maintains an open door policy.
- Maintains team member personnel files, forms, and records.
- Addresses and resolves all guest issues.
- Establishes center Thunder Road and Thunder Mountain goals and develops efforts to ensure that goals are met or exceeded.
- Ensures guests’ expectations are exceeded.
- Ensures maintenance is being done timely and schedule periodic cleaning of ponds and filters.
- Learns how to trouble shot pumps at golf and the bumper boat pool. Watch pond and pool chemical levels and applies chemicals safely and in proper amounts.
Financial
- Takes responsibility for all daily cash deposits and submits cash sheets to accounting.
- Submits all required payroll records to payroll for processing in a timely fashion.
- Meets or exceeds financial goals.
Operations
- Knowledgeable of operations in all areas.
Safety
- Ensures that all team members comply with health and safety rules and regulations.
- Implements and documents required safety programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises all team leads and team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Sales
Must be able to demonstrate a history of sales improvement and cost containment.
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of the internet, online scheduling program, Microsoft Office Professional, and Publisher.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from shift managers, clients, guests, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
