Cheltenham School District announces that the following support staff position is available for the 2024-2025 school year.
Position Title: Kindergarten Assistant
Location: Wyncote Elementary
Compenstion: $17.86 per/hour (New Hires, Based on the 2024-2025 BEC Salary Schedule)
Qualifications: Requires an associate’s degree or 48 credits of post-secondary course work.
Overview: Provide assistance to the teacher and the children. Supervise the children before
school begins; supervise and escort the children to their bus at dismissal. Assist the teacher in the classroom during students’ lessons and projects and in the computer lab; provide support with small student groups. Supervise children in the cafeteria during lunch.
Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to information concerning students.
