Wyndemere Country Club is a premier member-owned residential community recognized as a Platinum Club of America by the Club Leaders Forum. Located in the heart of Naples, Wyndemere boasts a 27-Hole Arthur Hills Golf Course, 10 Clay Tennis Courts, 7 Pickleball Courts, 4 Bocce Courts, a full croquet lawn, resort style pool, and a 20,000 square foot Spa & Wellness Center that opened in 2022. Two Restaurants including the recently constructed Tiebreaker complete this amazing campus.

About the Position
The Host plays a vital role as the first point of contact for members and guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and welcoming experience. This position works closely with the entire food and beverage team to uphold the highest standards of service. Beyond greeting guests, the Host may assist servers by providing beverage service and managing table setups to enhance the overall dining experience. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to outstanding hospitality. As with all positions at Wyndemere Country Club, the Host is expected to exemplify and promote the organization's core values, mission, and culture in every interaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet members and their guests to the club with a smile and by using the member/guest’s name.
- Assist with seating and answering member inquiries/questions.
- If immediate seating is limited, must be able to provide members with estimated waiting times, and record guest names, locations, descriptions, and the number of people in the party on the waiting list.
- Must understand club standards and be comfortable communicating this to members and their guests, including but not limited to clothing, electronic device policy, reservations, etc.
- Treat all members in a respectful manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Interact with members as they arrive and as they leave the dining area to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
- Monitors members’ dress and professionalism to ensure the club is always well represented.
- Knows all table numbers and floor charts in the designated F&B outlet
- Work with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a smile.
- Ask servers if there is anything that they may need to expedite service.
- Make sure that daily menus are clean and properly placed in the dining room.
- Assist with any room re-sets when other responsibilities are completed. (Moving tables and chairs, restaurant set up, etc.)
- Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures of the Club as established.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management and moves with a sense of urgency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of hosting experience in a hospitality setting is required.
- Skills & Knowledge: Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails is a plus, and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is desirable.
- Interpersonal Abilities: Must be able to interact positively and professionally with guests, coworkers, and management, fostering a cooperative and supportive work environment.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Work Environment: Must thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting, performing duties efficiently under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
