Maintenance Worker

Wyndemere Country Club is a premier member-owned residential community recognized as a Platinum Club of America by the Club Leaders Forum. Located in the heart of Naples, Wyndemere boasts a 27-Hole Arthur Hills Golf Course, 10 Clay Tennis Courts, 7 Pickleball Courts, 4 Bocce Courts, a full croquet lawn, resort style pool, and a 20,000 square foot Spa & Wellness Center that opened in 2022. Two Restaurants including the recently constructed Tiebreaker complete this amazing campus.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Staff:

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans, and sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans, and sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a housekeeper/maintenance, preferably in a hotel or country club environment.
• General knowledge and experience is required in two or more areas including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating/cooling, pool maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot, repair and install parts and equipment.
• Must be proficient with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Working quickly without compromising quality.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Other Qualifications:

• Bilingual Preferred (Not required)

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 pounds, walk and stand for 4 or more hours at a time; bend, squat, crawl, reach, twist; climb stairs, ladders, and work in high places such as roofs; or in small places such as maintenance or electrical closets, under sinks, drop ceilings, etc.
