What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Product Specialist position at Wyndham Collection?
Wyndham Collection is looking for a Product and Inventory Data Specialist to help us accelerate new product launches. This is a full-time hybrid position. The company is based in the San Fernando Valley. You will be expected to be able to meet or work in person with the team in Los Angeles county. A few years of experience is a plus, but will not disqualify you if missing.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, and able to problem-solve and learn new systems quickly. This position coordinates with the rest of the team as well as outside customers.
Much of the work will involve creating, editing and formatting product information in Excel and working with websites. If spreadsheets and puzzles are fun for you, this will be a good fit. If you're a hard worker and a fast learner then training and mentorship may be available.
Responsibilities include :
- Creating and updating product data in spreadsheets
- Gathering and verifying information on new products like features and dimensions
- Collaborating with the team and customer to coordinate new product launches
- Adding new products to online stores
- Basic HTML editing
- Image cropping and resizing
- Updating current product inventory, prices, and specifications
- Working with customers to ensure accuracy and quality of listings
- May change as needed
