Our Resort is seeking an outgoing, professional applicant for our Front Desk Assistant Manager role. Must have flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Job Summary: Front Desk Assistant Manager
Our Guest Service Agents are responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality at the Front Desk and throughout our resort at all times; welcoming and serving the owners and guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. Our Front Desk Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting our Guest Service staff to ensure they can meet their expectations, and supply them with the necessary tools and guidance for success.
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following, and may also require the Front Desk Manager to delegate and maintain the following of their staff:
- Answer incoming calls and direct appropriately
- Receive guest requests and/or complaints and ensure they are handled properly
- Answer inquiries pertaining the resort's amenities, policies and area attractions
- Book, confirm and cancel reservations
- Handle incoming payments for reservations
- Perform duties of a general clerical nature as needed
- Attend to guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotel Group Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
- Comply with Wyndham Hotel Group Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Manage Deposit Requests from RCI, and log them accordingly
- Ensure all communication between departments is done in a timely and courteous manner
- Manage HotSOS calls, TrustYou Messaging, and Stay Over / Late Checkout scheduling
- Review Time off Requests and Manage scheduling
- Ensure communication of staff call outs is done effectively and coverage is adequately adjusted
- Performing inventory adjustments and assigning as needed by Guest Services Director
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Report to Front Desk Manager, Resort Operations Manager, General Manager
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
a) Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
b) Knowledge and skills
- Customer Service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer information systems
- Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
- Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
- Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Knowledge of conflict resolution strategies
c) Job experience
- 2-5 years experience in Customer Service
- Preferred Experience in Hospitality
- Preferred Qualifications - Hotel or Resort Experience, Supervisory or Managerial Experience
