Wyndham Flagstaff Resort is seeking a detail oriented, part-time Maintenance Technician.

Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the maintenance and renovation of the resort, and promoting hospitality at all times. Our maintenance team is friendly, reliable, and driven, providing the best resort experience in Flagstaff!
Job Summary: Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for walking all assigned units and utilize a preventative maintenance checklist to ensure functionality for incoming guests, as well as routine maintenance and renovation of the resort property. Maintenance is also responsible for responding to service orders during guests stays.
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing spas and swimming pools.
- Maintain lodging units, common areas/buildings, grounds, etc
- Light carpentry experience preferred, repair doors, windows, furniture, cabinetry and remodeling work as required.
- Troubleshoot appliances, HVAC, plumbing as necessary
- Repair interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting.
- Attend to guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
- Assist Maintenance Manager in department operations and organizing the team's unit assignments and daily projects.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Report to Maintenance Manager and Assistant Manager
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
a) Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License is mandatory
b) Knowledge and skills
- Ability to trouble-shoot and work on small and large spas/hot tubs and pools a plus
- Competent skills regarding the operation of small hand and electrical tools; Basic electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing and HVAC trouble shooting and repair helpful
- Some HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing knowledge a plus
- Customer Service
- Able to lift/carry/push supplies or equipment of 50 lbs. or more with frequent reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling.
- Must possess the ability to demonstrate good judgment and customer service when dealing with guests and staff members.
- Excellent communication skills.
c) Job experience
- One or more years experience in maintenance, contracting, or other applied skills related to work in hotel or building maintenance
- HVAC experience a plus
- Some Plumbing/Electrical experience a plus
- One or more years experience working on spas/hot tubs preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
Must have valid driver license in good standing
Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States
This position requires the successful completion of a background check and drug screen for employment
