Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including but not limited to welding, residential painting, and supervising maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Execute welding tasks as required to ensure structural integrity
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance projects while supervising other maintenance staff
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems
- Proficient in facilities maintenance practices, including residential painting techniques
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and tenants
- Familiarity with CMMS for efficient management of maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
