Seeking maintenance technician with experience and skills to handle basic plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, painting, etc. Candidate should be able to work cohesively with the team as well as independently
This is a barter Position requiring the candidate to live on-site working 30 hours to cover the cost of their room / balance of hours to be paid.
Responsibilities
- Basic maintenance of the hotel including all common areas as well as Guest Rooms
- Routine Repairs
- Carpentry
- Painting and drywall
- Plumbing repairs i.e. fixtures, sinks, faucets, tubs, caulking, leaks, toilets
- Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, and lighting systems and make minor repairs and / or replacement
- Maintain the exterior and "curb appeal" as required
- Exterior painting
- Pool Maintenance (when needed)
- Custodial Duties including trash pickup throughout the property
- Change guest room door locks
- Setting up event space with tables and chairs
- Effectively communicate with Guests as well as all departments to coordinate work orders
