Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Carry out floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is a plus.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and floor care techniques is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while multitasking.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
