Part-Time Infant Nanny

About The Family

This wonderful family in Birmingham, AL is seeking a compassionate, loving nanny for their 10-week-old baby girl. The family is looking for someone who has experience with infants and can provide both primary childcare and some help with light baby-related household tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, attentive care for a 10-week-old baby girl
• Engage in developmentally appropriate activities, such as tummy time, interactive play, and encouraging milestones
• Bottle feeding/transitions to solids as the baby grows, diaper changes, soothing, and putting down for naps
• Support with baby-related chores, such as washing and drying bottles, baby laundry, and tidying up baby’s room
• Communicate regularly with parents about the baby’s needs, progress, and any concerns
• Help ensure the baby’s routine is maintained in a calm, structured, and loving manner
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the baby
  
  

Qualifications

• Infant and childcare experience, with an understanding of normal infant development and milestones
• CPR certification required
• Up to date on TDap, flu, and COVID vaccines, with an ongoing requirement to stay current
• Comfortable with light housekeeping duties, including baby laundry, bottle washing, and other child related tasks
• Strong communication skills, including keeping parents informed about baby’s routine and progress
• Comfortable working in a pet-friendly home with two cats
  
  

Additional Information

• Flexible schedule, 4-5 hour blocks for 2 afternoons a week
• Located in Vestavia
• Rate: $20/hr

• Flexible 4-5 hour blocks, flexible with days
• Ideally: Tues/Thurs afternoons (12p-5p or 1p-6p) Wed/Thurs afternoons (12p-5p or 1p-6p)
