Beverage Cart Attendant

The Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendant provides an outstanding customer experience for members and guests by making available food and beverage products on the course. They are responsible for efficient service while keeping the cart stocked and maintaining cleanliness to ensure smooth running day-to-day operations. Selected candidates must be of legal age to serve alcohol, and will be required to work weekdays, weekends, and golf tournaments.

Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)

• Acknowledges and greets each group of members/guests on the course and provides information to members/guests regarding beverage cart services and product availability;
• Receives and distributes food and beverage orders; upsells when appropriate;
• Maintains order on the course by following proper golf etiquette, observing and respecting the flow of the game, and operating the beverage cart in a safe and efficient manner;
• Manages cart inventory- restocks supplies, notifies management of supplies needed, etc.
• Performs beverage cart set up and break down procedures;
• Contributes to the overall cleanliness of the beverage cart, golf course, and facilities;
• Cleans cart at the end of every shift, and as needed throughout shift;
• Maintains appropriate standards to ensure food safety and sanitation;
• Utilizes proper procedures in serving alcoholic beverages (verifying member/guest is legal drinking age – 21 – and/or discontinuing service to intoxicated customers);
• Remains up to date on course events and activities that may affect convenience cart operations;
• Informs members and guests of current specials, if applicable;
• Prepares basic food and beverage items;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time
