The Director of Educational Programs and Operations is a visionary leader responsible for creating and sustaining exceptional early childhood programs that align with our core values. This role involves leading and building a talented team of educators in delivering a curriculum that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning among young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the intentional planning and implementation of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with the center's educational philosophy and best practices in early childhood education.
- Professional Development: Drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning through professional development, coaching, and observation.
- Learning Environment: Cultivate a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that fosters social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children.
- Team Management: Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate a high-performing team of early childhood educators.
- Team Culture: Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture that values open communication, shared decision-making, and professional growth.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, classroom management, and resource allocation.
- Family Engagement: Build strong partnerships with families, effectively communicating the program and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Community Building: Engage families in the learning process and foster a strong sense of community within the center.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to plan and execute strategic initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant state licensing requirements and regulations.
- Facilities Management: Work with the facilities team to ensure spaces meet licensing requirements and participate in strategic planning for future developments.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of leadership experience in early childhood education.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Certifications: Background checks and trainings
