We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining property standards, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing lease agreements.
Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions and identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair services, working closely with vendors and contractors.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for property upkeep.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations in all leasing practices and tenant interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and property transactions through data entry.
- Utilize property management software (Yardi, OneSite) for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Strong understanding of facilities management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations is required.
- Previous experience in administrative roles within real estate is preferred.
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively manage lease agreements.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
