What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer position at Wyoming County Community Health System?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To perform Echocardiography and Doppler studies on all but limited age groups for outpatients and inpatients for use by a cardiologist to diagnose patient conditions. May also perform secondary functions including, but not limited to: Cardiac Stress Testing, Holter Monitor Set-up and Scanning, Wellness Outreach, EKGs and Cardiac Rehab Exercise and Monitoring.
POSITION ACCOUNTABLE TO:
1. Assistant Director, Outpatient Services (Regulatory)
2. Director of Regulatory Affairs
3. Medical Director Cardiology
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education:
a. High School Graduate
b. One Year Experience in echocardiographic procedures, to
include 2D & 3D echocardiography, M-mode, Doppler, color flow Doppler, Stress echocardiography (SE), Pharmacology and pacing stress echo, Strain Echocardiography, TEE- Transesophageal echocardiography, Contrast echo, and Bubble Study.
C. Contrast Echo- Lumason
d. BLS Certified certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
e. Must fulfill Civil Services requirements
f. Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registration issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Pay: $28.87 - $35.89 per hour
