Job Summary:
Supervises all maintenance operations, follow-up of repairs, and department personnel during assigned shifts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise all maintenance operations, and department personnel during assigned shifts.
- Assist the Facility Supervisor with follow up of maintenance, and repair of all facilities and equipment.
- Contribute and assist in the evaluation of employee performance reviews.
- Provide and administer all new hire training.
- Ensures staff creates a positive relationship through consistent delivery of customer service to all guests and co-workers.
- Ensures staff maintains a clean, neat work environment including all surrounding areas of property including but not limited to the gaming floor, parking area, trash receptacles and ash urns.
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
- Ensures proper training and safe storage of cleaning supplies along with safety training guidelines.
- Involved with the scheduling, disciplinary actions, payroll, inventory, and purchasing procedures.
- Accountable for follow through with dept. walk through, special cleaning projects, and the maintaining of dept. cleanliness standards.
- Contributes to maintaining or improving cleanliness quality standards set forth by department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good communication skills
- Computer applications skills
- Good knowledge of cleaning procedures
Education and Experience:
- One (1) year experience in facility maintenance preferred.
