Cashier
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Operate cash register to complete customers’ shopping experience. Delivering excellent customer service, practicing good stewardship in all financial and cash handling duties, and demonstrating a strong faith and work ethic to our customers, donors, and program guests. Positions are full- or part-time, non-exempt.
RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Store Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Wyoming Rescue Mission is a religious employer. All members of staff must agree to uphold the WRM Statement of Faith and Ministry Principles (available at wyomission.org/career).
- High School Diploma or GED required **
(this position is open to workers under 18 with parental approval)
Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused and productive all shift.
Ability to communicate positively with team members, donors, and customers.
Ability to stand, bend, move, twist and carry throughout shift, frequently lifting 25 to 50lbs.
Act as an advocate for the homeless, poor, and marginalized by raising the awareness of the causes, needs, and potential of those in poverty.
