What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician Supervisor position at Wyoming Valley Behavioral Hospital?
Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health is currently seeking to fill a full time Mental Health Technician Supervisor for first (7am-3 : 30pm and second shift (3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm). The MHT Supervisor serves to orient new staff members to the role and provides training and support to the MHT and MHT II staff. R eviews consent collection and other admission documentation data for accuracy. Serves as a guide for obtaining and documenting proper vital signs, detailed documentation for patient belongings, engaging patients and supporting the patient in acclimating to the unit upon admission. Provides direct patient care. Assists in maintaining medical records, monitors patient interactions, and safety. Provides clerical support, assists in patient data collection, and uses verbal and non-verbal communication skills to provide targeted therapeutic interventions with patients. Three years of equivalent work experience in a psychiatric / addictive disease treatment facility and two years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
