What are the responsibilities and job description for the MHT (Mental Health Tech), 2nd/3rd Shift position at Wyoming Valley Behavioral Hospital?
Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health is looking for Mental Health Technicians who can remains calm and enhances an environment with compassion to people seeking help for serious symptoms of mental illness. The ideal candidate would be familiar with Trauma Informed Care theory and practice. Interested candidates should be compassionate, understanding and interested in working as a team member to build and maintain an environment of support and recovery for people living with mental illness. Candidates will have opportunities to build their knowledge and skills about treatments for people with mental illness.
- SECOND AND THIRD SHIFTS AVAILABLE : Full Time
- Hourly rate between $17.00 - $19.00 based on experience
Position Summary :
Educational Requirements : High School diploma required. 1 yr. equivalent work experience in psychiatric / addictive disease treatment preferred.
