What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional/Classroom Aide position at WYOMING VALLEY WEST SCHOOL DISTRICT?
Applicant must be responsible for a special need’s student in an educational setting and follow the educational plan for the student. Applicant may also be assigned to a Special Education classroom to assist the teacher.
Applicant will assist their assigned student to and from their mode of transportation, cafeteria, bathroom facilities and community-based issues, along with personal care and hygiene of the student.
Applicant as a special education paraprofessional is required by the State to complete 20 hours of paraprofessional development each school year.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $13.50 per hour
