-We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual to join our team at WYRD RYDS, an exciting and growing e-scooter/e-bike shop. As an E-Scooter/E-Bike Shop Associate, you will assist customers in selecting, purchasing, and maintaining electric scooters and bikes. You will be responsible for offering expert advice on e-scooter/e-bike products, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the store is well-organized and stocked. Your role will also involve basic maintenance and repair of e-scooter/e-bikes, ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting a safe, sustainable transportation option.
-Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales:
- Greet customers and provide information on various e-scooter/e-bike models, accessories, and services.
- Assist customers in selecting the right e-scooter/e-bike based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Educate customers on e-scooter/e-bike features, benefits, and safety considerations.
- Upsell accessories such as helmets, lights, locks, and maintenance kits.
- Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Provide test rides for customers and explain the operation of the e-scooter/e-bike.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
-E-Scooter/E-Bike Maintenance & Repair:
- Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on e-scooters/e-bikes, including tire changes, brake adjustments, motor diagnostics, and battery checks.
- Ensure that scooters/bikes are properly tuned and functioning before they are sold or rented.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance for each bike.
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep on the store’s demo scooter and bikes.
-Inventory Management:
- Assist with stock organization, ordering new products, and keeping track of inventory levels.
- Help with receiving, tagging, and pricing new stock.
- Monitor and report low inventory levels or damaged goods to management.
-Store Presentation:
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Set up product displays, promotional materials, and maintain an attractive store layout.
- Keep the shop floor free from clutter and safe for customers.
-Product Knowledge & Training:
- Stay updated on the latest trends in electric scooter/ bikes, technology, and industry best practices.
- Attend (in-store) regular training sessions to improve technical knowledge of e-scooter/e-bike products and maintenance procedures.
-Required:
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic mechanical skills, with a willingness to learn more about e-scooters/e-bikes maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and handle bikes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

- This position involves working in a retail environment with a mixture of indoor and outdoor tasks.
- Expect regular interaction with customers, providing an engaging and helpful experience.
- The role may require standing, walking, lifting scooters/bikes, and performing repairs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
