What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Maintenance Technician position at Wysocki Family Farms?
Wysocki Family Farms is seeking a full-time Irrigation Maintenance Technician to join our team. Primary responsibilities will include the maintenance of our Irrigation systems including pivots, wheels, electrical components and fault finding in a shop setting. Other maintenance duties include various types of agricultural equipment such as skid steers, tractors, trailers, and boom trucks. This role will also have support duties to operate a group of pivot irrigation systems servicing growing crops on some weekends.

Schedule:
November through March: Work (4) 10-hour days
April through November: Work (5) days with rotating weekends during growing season
Bancroft, WI is an approximate 20-30 minute drive from the Stevens Point/Plover & Wisconsin Rapids area.

What do you need?
- High School Diploma/or GED
- Three years (plus) maintenance/mechanic experience with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Requires a driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Basic mechanical skills to change tires, u-joints, gear boxes or wheel boxes
- General knowledge of electricity is preferred
- Fabrication experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to use various types of technology systems such as E-Maintenance, mobile technology, and diagnostics scanners to use and interpret any mechanical or electrical issues.
