SUMMARY: Providing daily assignment of team duties, maintaining compliance to work instructions and specifications, ensuring material is available and staged for manufacturing processes, and upkeeping accuracy of data recorded on production sheets and in local ERP system.

3. HOURS:
· 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM – 3:00PM
· 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00PM – 11:00PM
· 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 11:00PM – 7:00AM
· A Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM – 4:00PM
· B Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00PM – 2:00AM
· C Shift: Friday-Sunday 7:00AM – 7:00PM
· Additional overtime during the week and on weekends as needed

5. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School completion or equivalent
· Business or technical training or experience desired
· Minimum 2 years work experience with at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or leadership role (preferably regulated industry such a medical, food, aerospace, or automotive).

7. ESSENTIAL SUPERVISORY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervisory
Ø Execute scheduling plan and production priorities through day to day allocation of labor resources.
Ø Provide effective hands-on training for new and existing team members and ensure that training is properly documented.
Ø Interprets and enforces company policies and applicable regulations to workers. Escalation of repetitive infractions to production supervisor.
Ø Maintains the cleanliness of the facility and ensures safe work environment for team members.
Ø Provides feedback to production supervisor on the performance of production team members .
Ø Monitors work area for neat appearance and organization of tools, materials, and paperwork (5S).
· Schedule Adherence
Ø Cross-functional communication with other departments to ensure necessary resources (materials and paperwork) are available at the time of need.
Ø Execute manufacturing priorities as determined by supervision and monitor job activity to ensure adherence to production schedule.
Ø Communicate and update the team when adjustments to schedule are required.
· Transactional
Ø Responsible for accuracy of material transacting of input materials, work in process, scrap, and finished goods to ensure proper inventory count quantities and lot traceability.
Ø Responsible for reporting all labor documentation, assigning hourly efficiencies, and monitoring all production runs to assure that work orders are filled out and accounted for properly.
Ø Ensure accurate completion of all production documentation and paperwork including adherence to good documentation practices (GDP).
Ø Maintaining KANBAN quantities for “Pull” system
· Technical
Ø Ability to recognize malfunctions in production equipment and effectively communicate machine issues and need for unplanned maintenance to supervisor and mechanic staff in a timely manner.
· Compliance/Quality
Ø Ensures employees meet company and department standards for quality, productivity, record keeping, housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and safety with consistent feedback to team members on the production line.
Ø Performs first piece and in-line inspection of material, as needed.
Ø Accurately uses measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
Ø Follow through with the Material Disposition for all work in-process related to MRB directives.
· Problem Solving
Ø Analyzing, trouble shooting, and resolving production problems. Communicate to supervisor when necessary.
· Continuous Improvement
Ø Recommends measures to improve production methods and procedures to improve output, equipment performance, quality of product, efficiency and suggest changes in working conditions.
Ø Implements ideas that supports and ensures the success of company initiatives within the department.
8. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Occasionally required to utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
· Occasionally required to work near moving mechanical parts.
· Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
