Description
Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.
Reports to : Director of Pharmacy
Qualifications
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Ability to accept on-call assignments and respond within 30 minutes upon notification.
Required Licenses
Virginia, United States] Pharmacy Technician
Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Pharmacy Technician, and in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
