Description
Collects and processes blood specimens and other specimens for testing in the laboratory.Uses the laboratory information system to register patients and enter test orders.
Reports to : Director of Laboratory

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required License / Certification
Licenses : Valid driver’s license and transportation to use on the job
Minimum Education
Graduate of a program in Phlebotomy required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations; laboratory tests and how to collect appropriate specimens; knowledge of computers, keyboard, and various pieces of office equipment.
