Performance Responsibilities:
- Implement screening procedures to identify speech/language impaired students in assigned school.
- Assess communication skills of students using diagnostic procedures and related information.
- Plan and implement procedures to change deficient communication skills.
- Direct speech/language articulation, voice, and fluency therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers and monitor students’ progress.
- Plan instructional programs.
- Conduct and participate in the evaluation study, eligibility, screening, etc.
- Prepare speech and language evaluation reports and related records.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree from an accredited institution in special education, social work, or related field
- Licensure or qualifies for a Virginia Department of Education License; Postgraduate Profesional License: Speech Language Pathologist.
SALARY BASED ON THE 2024-2025 SPEECH PATHOLOGIST SALARY
Based on a 200-day contract
