Job Description:

X-1 Security, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and disciplined Armed Security Guard for a high-security role at a bank. This position demands strict adherence to security protocols, vigilance, and professionalism. Only experienced, licensed candidates who are fully committed to following all security guidelines should apply. This role is for individuals who understand the importance of maintaining a strong and visible security presence.

Responsibilities:

• Armed Presence: Maintain an armed and visible presence at the bank entrance during all open hours, serving as the primary line of defense for bank staff and customers.

• Controlled Access: Monitor and control access to the bank, ensuring only authorized individuals enter and that all security protocols are followed.

• Situational Vigilance: Remain constantly alert, scanning for any unusual or suspicious activity both inside the bank and in its vicinity.

Emergency Response: React swiftly and decisively to any security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement if necessary.

• Surveillance and Patrols: During the bank’s open hours, periodically patrol the bank interior and monitor all entrances and exits. When the bank is closed, conduct routine patrols of the parking lot and immediate premises to prevent unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.

• Strict Radio Checks: Conduct scheduled radio check-ins with management. No personal cell phone use is permitted while on duty except for these authorized radio checks.

• Compliance with Regulations: Follow all California and BSIS requirements to the letter, maintaining a professional and compliant approach to armed security work.

• Incident Documentation: In the event of an incident, complete a detailed report promptly, outlining all actions taken, observations, and any relevant witness statements.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Guard Card and BSIS Firearms Permit (all licenses must be current and fully compliant with state regulations).

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in armed security, preferably in a bank or high-security setting.

• Proven track record of reliability, discipline, and adherence to strict security policies.

• Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain composed in high-stress environments.

• Ability to enforce no cell phone use on duty (except for radio check-ins); strict adherence to this policy is required. Requirements:

• Must be an armed security professional with all necessary licenses for California.

• Must be punctual, responsible, and willing to follow all company protocols without exception.
